To celebrate 20 years of Spinoza laureates, the Dutch Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) organises Spinoz@Night in Dudok Café Den Haag. The event is open for the general public, and can also be watched live on the internet.

The Spinoza prize is the highest award in Dutch science. The last 20 years, it was awarded to 73 outstanding Dutch scientists. In the cosy ambiance of Cafe Dudok, Eva Jinek and Winfried Baijens will host a live talkshow with a great number of Dutch top scientist, all Spinozalaureates.
Among the invited guests are Gerard 't Hooft, Spinoza laureate (1995) and Nobel laureate (1999), and Erik Verlinde, who started his career under supervision of ' t Hooft and in 2011 himself was awarded the Spinoza Prize.
Among the other guests are: Theunis Piersma, expert in migratory bird ecology (Spinoza 2014), Michel Ferarri, expert on migraine (Spinoza 2009), and neuroscientist Peter Hagoort (Spinoza 2005).
Spinoz@Night precedes the Weekend of Science on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October.
