During the current academic year, he will also carry out a re:constitution fellowship on “strategic climate litigation as a strategy of democratic self-preservation”.
Alberto joined Amsterdam Law School in October 2023 as a junior lecturer of European Law at the PPLE College, and then moved to ACELG in September 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher within the ERC-funded project "Strategic Climate Litigation's Direct and Indirect Consequences for Democracy".
He holds a PhD in Law (Antwerp, 2024) and a Master in Law (Trento, 2018), and has held visiting positions at the European University Institute, and at the universities of Copenhagen, Madrid Complutense, Brussels ULB and Montpellier.
